This piece was created for Quilting Arts Magazine's Self Portrait Mini-Quilt contest. It started with a photo my husband had taken of me which I transfered to fabric. The piece was embellished with hand embroidery, machine applique, shisha mirrors, sequins and found objects. A quote stamped onto rug binding was appliqued to the bottom and it was hand quilted with contrasting thread, bound and signed.
