What boy doesn't love to draw? I simply never stopped loving it. For more than 20 years now I've been sharing my illustrations and multimedia works with others; sometimes professionally or just for fun. I'm predominately a genre artist specializing in history, aviation & space, classic sci-fi fantasy and portraits. My preferred media includes graphite, charcoal, acrylic, watercolor, Prismacolor and electronic creations.
My formal artistic instruction was at the Art Institute of Atlanta. I've created art for private clients, companies and many government agencies including the State Parks of Tennessee and Mississippi, U.S. Senate & Congress and U.S. Coast Guard.
My artwork was featured during the 50th Anniversary of Rock and Roll celebration at Graceland. Two of my paintings are in the archives of the Elvis Presley estate. I have created designs for film, music, publishing and automobiles including decorative hardware for the award-winning TomCat Mark I production hot-rod. I'm always excited by the next artistic challenge, but I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with younger people. As a dad of three daughters, I really appreciate the influence of art on kids. Judging school shows and teaching after-school classes are a couple of the ways I reach out to my community.
It's always good to hear from friends old and new. Drop me a line if only to introduce yourself. I'll send an art card if you'd like. Especially if you are a kid. Keep smiling.
