Media:  oil on prepared birch wood
Dimensions:  4 x 6 x 1/8
Date of Work:  Apr. 2007

Wide-eyed and full of curiosity and wonder at everything in her world, this little centaur explores from the safty of her mothers side. According to the myths, the majority of the centaurs were a roudy and destructive lot that finally got themselves beaten in a vicious battle and driven from human society. Those were the bad boys that ruined it all for the centaurs in general, but, there were a very few that were friends to mankind, honerable, highly skilled in many disciplines such as hunting and music, and, were very wise and much loved! I like to think my centaurs are decended from those noble and heroic few. This is a beautiful one-of-a-kind small oil painting, suitable for framing or keeping in album collections. It is an OSWOA (Original Small Work Of Art), and, as with all OSWOAs, it is a flat, original miniature work of art in the set 4x6 format . Please visit the OSWOA web site (see link below) to learn more about these wonderful small art works and the artists behind this new art movement! In this auction you are bidding on the original artwork, "Wondering Eyes" which is painted in oil paint on a gessoed 1/8" thick birch plywood. The artwork measures 6" x 4" and, it is signed on the front, and, titled and signed on the back. Thankyou for looking and good luck bidding!
