Media:  oil on prepared birch
Dimensions:  4x6x3/16 inches
Date of Work:  Nov. 2007

Startled, yet intrigued, an old gray arabian is charmed by a dreamy vision of a more robust and vigorous self from his prime reflecting from the glassy pond surface before him. Yeah, I was feeling old and decrepit, too, when I came up with this one, only the image in MY mirror wasn't looking any younger! Wishful dreaming! Ha! "A Vision of Glory" is an OSWOAź (Original Small Work Of Art) oil painting, and, as with all OSWOA art, it is an original miniature work of art in the set 4x6 format that is also thin enough to fit into photo album sleeves . This artwork is painted in oil paint on a black gessoed and sanded 3/16 inch thick birch plywood panel. It is signed on the front, and, titled and signed on the back.
