Shin is the 21st letter in the Hebrew alphabet. It is also the first letter in the Hebrew word "Safa" which means "Language".

I used a calligraphic Photoshop brush to paint the word "Language" in 54 different languages, gave every language a different color and transparency so that they would blend together, creating a tapestry, on which I drew the "Shin" letter. Hopefully we would learn to blend, leaving our differences behind the same way our languages blend when mixed together.
