I painted this having just watched yet another tedious award ceremony where actors and actresses were gushing their thanks to all those who had made it possible... dull, dull. It got me thinking about why there are not awards for other professions where in many cases people work very much harder and for considerably less reward. So.. there you have it. This is my abstract representation of the sin of pride.
