Another ACEO! I'm having lots of fun doing these!

This art trading card was painted in watercolour, on Arches watercolour paper. It's always a challenge for me to paint something so detailed in such a small format, i.e. 2.5" x 3.5". When I first saw the reference pic of this swan, I loved the colours, I loved the shape of the swan and I loved it's grace. To me, a swan is synonymous with ballet. Every time I see a swan, I think of a graceful ballerina.
