My portraiture service transforms your cherished photograph into an Heirloom quality oil painting. ( your photo is not harmed, returned to you untouched). The work is tedious and painstaking, but the result is worth it. The average 16"x20" canvas mount on masonite is $1500. A photo with extensive detail or additional figures will cost more.

The work usually takes at least one month to complete, dependent upon oil drying time; during art festival season ( the summer), and holidays, I will need two months.

This service is a fabulous gift for a new home owner ( a pic of the new abode, made into a perfect-for-the-mantelpiece art work !~), the vacation spot you want to commemorate, a land or seascape photo you took and adore, a winter or Christmas scene, close-focus floral photos, a bride or anniversary couple, a child, a spot you visited on your honeymoon that you fell in love with,almost any digital high-quality photo you have of a subject dear to you. I have even painted a race car on commission, and the buyer was thrilled with the result. This particular commission requires one third non-refundable deposit in advance before I begin the work.
