An original fine art painting on gallery wrapped canvas, no staples showing, with deep1 1/2" thick edges that are painted black (see studio view). A hanging wire is attached and a protective UV finish has been applied to the painted surface. The background is textured with Golden brand crackle paste over collaged squares of paper. You can't see the paper except for the texture. The crackle medium was suppose to crackle over the whole surface but only crackled in one area, the upper right (see detail). Over time time more crackles may or may not appear throughout the surface. Anyway, me being impatient couldn't wait to see if more crackles would show up, went ahead and painted on the canvas. Even though the crackles didn't show up, I really love how the flowers turned out and thought maybe you would like it too. Just know that more crackles could appear and that's the way it was supposed to be. You can always email me if you have further questions.
