This piece is part of series of stiIl lifes. In each painting the subject remained the same. What changed was the use of different design elements. I began by painting a contour yellow line to define the objects, then painted in layers of watercolor, thinking about relationships of warm and cool and complementary hues. Accents of gold metallic ink were added for maximum interest.
