Inspired by all the beautiful trees that are a big part of our everyday lives, this piece was created with layers, first by collaging decorative papers to the canvas, then I glazed layer upon layer of paint over them. The results are quite unique and you can see how it turned out in the detail photos. The papers add texture and if you look close you can see some of the pattern from the papers showing through the layers.
