Inspired by all the beautiful trees that are a big part of our everyday lifes, this piece was created with layers, first by collaging decorative papers to the canvas, then I glazed layer upon layer of paint over them. The results are quite unique and you can see how it turned out in the detail photos. The papers add texture and if you look close you can see some of the pattern from the papers showing through the layers. An original fine art painting on gallery wrapped canvas, no staples showing, with the 3/4" thick edges that are painted the same color as the background. The painting is ready to hang on your wall as soon as it is unwrapped from the shipping box. A hanging wire is attached and a protective sealant has been applied to the painted surface.
