An original fine art abstract painting on gallery wrapped canvas, no staples showing, with the 1 1/2" thick edges that are painted umber. In this piece my goal was to create simple calming shapes which were achieved by applying layers of color and then scraping away paint to let portions of the under layer show through. The orange/brown color is actually gold and copper metallic paint. The photo flattens the color and just doesn't capture the "rich" beauty. A hanging wire is attached and a protective UV varnish has been applied to the painted surface. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
