I have been an artist of many styles and techniques since I can remember.
I come from a family of artists which exposed me to many different mediums, forming my own ideas of art from a very early age.
Though I do paint many different kinds of paintings, I found painting vivid folk pop art paintings the most satisfying for me to do, my main subjects usually being cats, probably because I have had so many lol.
I found, however, my first true love is sculpting fantasy character dolls. I sculpt with just about anything I can get my hands on, cloth, clay, paper, material, etc.
I love to bring the fun and whimsy to otherwise "regular" lives. So through my art I have created a wonderfully colorful fun world strong in whimsy and imagination. I have always felt one does not to be a child to have fun and bright things around them and to appreciate it as they would as a child.
I am a contributing member of many online and offline art doll groupsand clubs. A few of my dolls have won awards and are internationally collected.
I look forward to many years of sharing my Artistic Whimsies with the public. My biggest joy has been to have a customer comment to me, "your dolls make me smile every time I see them." That, in essence, is all I want to do with my art, make people smile and feel happy. *:O)
