After 25 years I returned to oil painting and this is the first of many. One of my gallery owners had kept requesting works in oil even though he always had no trouble selling my pastel works. Anyway, it was fun and I loved the colors of this red pear against the warm background. Originally intended for the Jan 07 show - Art & Food. Pears are so sexy!
