Maat is about balance in your life. The goddess Maat weighs what is in your heart, if your heart is heavier than the feather you still a have lessons to learn. Maat is a wall hanging with a sculpted clay face painted with acrylics. Her body is an armature of pine draped with hand-dyed gauze and leather. She is embellished with feathers and wearing a pendulum of copal. Maat recently won 3rd place in sculpture and the People's Choice Award in the 2005 Tri-County Exhibition and Competition at the opening of the Stellar Gallery in Central CA. - SOLD
