Meet Vath ieng

VartH?
What kind of ridiculous word is that? Well my name is Vath
and I find that if I stuck an "r" right in the middle of my name,
I am able to utilize the word art into it. Fun huh? So there is
the thought process behind the awful sounding word, where if
you were to say it 3 times in succession, you will cease to have
any self dignity left or friends.
Vath, rhymes with moth not math
I am the Left Handed Monkey. It's simple really, I am left
handed and I was born on the year of the monkey. Still
trying to become a better all around person and found that
my art is helping me do this. The subject matters are
sometimes grim but there is always something very
enlightening or amusing about them that really takes away
from any truly depressing quality. I am a light hearted person
so I guess it shows in my work no matter how much I try to
spook you. I hope you enjoy my work and looking forward
to being a part of your life. The idea of having something I
created in someones home, or capture someones interest gives
me alot of pride about my work and it fuels me to keep
attacking the canvas with these crazy colors.

why I lower-case the "i" in my last name
Well simply because it looks cool and I felt likewise as I did it.
No, seriously it's because I keep getting mail addressed to
Vath Leng or soliciting phone calls asking for a Mr. Leng.
Besides already hating telemarketers, to get my name wrong
makes it all the more inappropriate.
Whenever I have to print my name on something (ex.job app.)
I clearly print the letter ' I ' YET someone is sure that I spelled my
own name wrong because how can I and E be the beginning of
anyone civilized humans last name? Well it can and it does. If
someone takes the time to bold their I, be sure that they meant
it not to be an L. So thus I resort to the lowercase i. A lowercase
"i" is better than a capital "L" I always say.

Currently residing in Richardson, Texas. Still evolving as a better
artist and human being.
