"advancing in the pale blue light,
he sees her on his fullest night"~~~
he yearns to tell her of his love,
while watching from his place above. ~~~
as this infatuation grows,
moon asks the stars 'you think she knows?'
~~~ they laugh and twinkle for a while,
'of course she does,
see her slight smile?' "
What fun to rip-off a diverse talent such as Tina Marie Ferguson. I had a hard time settling on what media to use as she masters paints & glazes, pencils & photos, piecing, layering, filtering, burnishing and then there is her fiber art too!
My main rip is her 'Bella Luna', but I turned it around and made it an "Orange Crush' which the moon has on the 'gatto' or cat.
I used a piece of salvaged plywood as a base, covered it with vintage yellow wall paper tinted blue. Next, I painted the kitty in acrylics and added Mr. Moon which is a couple of junk cds covered in news print, sealed and painted as well.
