"She might become ten thousand times more malignant than her mate, and delight, for its own sake, in murder and wretchedness."

Frankenstein is one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read.

A grotesque 'monster' is feared, loathed and misunderstood, while perceived 'beauty' may lack compassion, conscience and mercy.

Made as a companion piece to 'Mary Shelley's Monster', both acrylic paintings have collaged text from her novel added. The originals have been sold but both prints are available though ImageKind or possibly my etsy shop.
