This painting of blythe is a reflection of all the dolls of the 70’s that I like. Blythe, Liddle Kiddle, Hug a Bug, Mini Martians, Emerald the Enchanting Witch, or inspired by the modern Bleeding edge dolls, Pullip dolls by Takara, or the Living dead doll series…if it’s a bit off the wall and a bit mod I covet it. Rarely can I afford them so I paint my versions of them.
