Santa Hound ( sold)

A mini portrait of one of my favorite dogs the Basset Hound. Done with water color pencils, with snow accents and the faux frame is a simple black acrylic frame. Who can love those sad faces.

No need to frame, I can either gorilla glue a saw hanger to the back or put a hook on the top like my earlier "Polka Dot Pug Luv" painting. Winner can let me know which they would prefer!

A perfect way to have original art in a small space! Each painting is first sanded then a layer of artist’s gesso is applied, allowed to dry then sanded again. The piece has 3 layers of gesso hand sanded between each application. The painting is then done after the piece has been prepped.
