Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, one of the world’s most recognizable paintings, also one of the worlds most over manipulated paintings is manipulated for you one more time!

I was inspired by this months theme “Ode to an Artist: style or redo a well known work. I have always thought that the blythe doll had that same mysterious distance in her eyes , and the same enigmatic smile, so what better painting to celebrate than the Mona Lisa!

Painted specifically for Nibblefest, I really tried to capture both the mystery of Da Vinci & the fun of Blythe.

This is my entry in the Nibblefest Art Contest, a themed art contest beginning on the 20th of each month. Please be sure to search for NFAC to see more great entries, each starting at just 99˘. Thanks!
