My work is inspired by the natural world around me and by my avid love for animals. As a child I spent many hours drawing all kinds of wildlife on the backs of old brown paper bags. Anything and everything was a potential canvas. As an adult, I now paint mostly on traditional canvas. However, I'm still open to painting on whatever surface best supports and conveys the subject. I diligently study animals from life and from photos to accurately render them on canvas and to convey each animal's personality.

As a self taught artist, I have illustrated for Greenpeace USA, Fund for Animals, the Santa Rosa Bird Rescue Center, and the Primate Foundation, among many others. Since June of 2003, I have become a full-time artist offering my works for sale on eBay.
