What can be more glorious in late spring than a Peony in full bloom? I have a soft spot for flowers that have lovely scents as well as beautiful form. Peonies are among my very favorite flowers. Certainly there are less complex peonies which are just as lovely but this amazing bloom just had to be painted! I thoroughly enjoyed this project which provided plenty of challenges along the way.
