This artist trading card consists of individual beaded aphids which were then sewn onto painted canvas paper. The finished piece was then mounted onto mat board. Each insect was created using size 15 Japanese seed beads. I used a modified brick-stitch technique. I also used green thread for their legs.

This beaded art card is signed & dated, and all artist information is hand-written on the back to provide authenticity. My original Haiku is written in English on the back, as well.
