This piece was inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite movement and the stained glass landscapes of Lois Comfort Tiffany. It is composed of nearly 500 pieces of the finest art glass available; each piece individually cut, ground, leaded, solderd, puttied and polished using methods little changed from the Middle Ages. Several techniques were combined in creating this piece. Figures were painted using both traditional glass painting methods and airbrushing. Glass was plated to the back of the piece to create an illusion of depth and atmosphere.
