I love Religious Icons, and The Madonna is one I particularly like creating. In this she is wearing a blue veil, with a high necked dress with a cross at the neckline, and the gold striped background, she is very intricate and vibrant in real life. This is created with pen and ink, gold ink, and watercolor on 140lb watercolor paper.
