This is my mermaid version of Terpsichore. Referred to as nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, born in Pieria these ladies were the goddesses of inspiring springs. Then Muses, became the representatives of poetry, the arts and science. Terpsichore is the Muse of dance and is shown playing a lyre. She is created with pen and ink, watercolor, and some fine glitter inks to give the artwork a sparkle, on 140lb watercolor paper. In real life she is much more vibrant and intricate, a real beauty.
