Sea Gods, a mermaid group on ebay is doing a series of Collaborations between it's artists. Where one will draw and the other will paint. This is one where Helen Lee (ebay id: thehiddengallery*com) did the drawing and I got to paint her lovely line work. It was such an honor to be paired with her in this. If you haven't done you should definitely check out her artwork, she is amazing! Helen drew the mermaid and sketched in the background she wanted on 140lb water color paper and then sent it via the old snail mail to me, where I opened it with delight and trepidation lest I mess up her wonderful work with my painting skills. I then took the proverbial bull by the corns and painted! I used professiona grade watercolors and acrylic, as well as some micro glitter inks. Both Helen and I have initialed the front of this painting. This is truly a OOAK! Thanks for looking. :)
