"In a small, well appointed, sea kelp bed lived two sisters and their poor elderly mother. Snow White and Rose Red were all a parent could ask for in daughters. Snow White had fair skin and hair and was quiet and thoughtful in nature, while Rose Red had bright hair and a brighter disposition, and yet they suited each other perfectly, and were always found in each other's company."
