Commissions are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, I do generally have a bit of a waiting list on custom works. There are a few guidelines that I ask you consider before commissioning me do do any custom works.

-- Please do not ask me to recreate a past work - I guarantee to my patrons that each creation sold to them is an original piece and will not be duplicated. I have tried in the past the create a work derivitive of another one of my pieces and the creative flow was stifled as I tried to get the piece "just right" and the whole process was forced and never actually came to fruition in the end.

-- I must be allowed creative freedom throughout the process. I work free from sketches, all of my paintings are generally unplanned. Therefore sketches will not be provided. I work with you on the direction you initially would like to go - color choices, figures, compositional special requests, etc. but then I work the piece to near completion. It is then that images will be sent via email for you to look over. Revisions are then done as requested and more images as sent for approval.

-- Please look over my body of work to ensure my style is what you are looking for. This might go without saying but I have been approached for realistic pet portraits and pop art before even though I create nothing of the sort.

-- Please note the evolution of an artist's style - my work is different now than it was 2 years ago. Look to current work for the best examples of how a commission for you might turn out.

-- Please note I do not stretch my own canvases - I paint on canvases purchased through art supply retailers so certain, obscure or special request sizes may be unavailable or unattainable.

Below is a sample list of prices for commissioned works. Please contact me for prices for smaller or larger works. Multiple panel works also available, please contact me for price quotes on those as well. Prices include materials cost, time, and revisions that might need to be made, shipping via Fed EX, insurance, and delivery confirmation (tracking). Certificates of Authenticity are also included with each painting. All works are created on gallery wrapped canvas, staples on the back, and the sides are painted as an extention of the piece (or a certain color of your choosing) ready to hang works of art that do not need framing.

International inquiries please contact me regarding the above quotes as shipping will be higher. Paintings are wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard and then shipped in sturdy mirror boxes either floated in peanuts or cushioned with kraft paper, styrofoam, or additional cardboard and bubble wrap to ensure safe transit. Tracking numbers are provided and insurance is included for the security of the painting and your peace of mind as the commissioning patron.
