Water Lilies were once prescribed as an anaphrodisiac, although there is no proof that it ever worked! Since Valentine's Day is near, I wanted to work on a few romance-themed paintings. Mermaids are one of my favorite subjects so I thought it would be fitting to incorporate one into this piece. I had made an ACEO earlier by a similar title, "Starlight Lily Mermaid". They're not meant to be a set, but they were sketched out at the same time so that's why they are so alike. Hope you all like her! Thanks for looking!
