This is my entry into the November NFAC Contest with the subject "TOYS". It is an oil painting on canvas board and is a nice large size at 11" x 14". It could easily be put in a standard size frame, or would look great just propped up against the wall on a shelf. It is inspired by a funky lil' bear named "Gloomy Bear", a well known japanese toy. I find inspiration in the japanese items because the are quite odd and artistic as well.
