This is an oil pastel done on paper, 8" x 10" image size, and comes professionally matted in a white archival mat. It is another in a series of colorful squares and rectangles done by the artist. The colors, on a background of textured teal, are jeweled and almost glowing due to the quilting effect given by working the paint in with the fingers. It comes matted, signed on the front and back, and with a certificate of authenticity showing it to be an original work of fine art by contemporary artist N.J. Strother.
