A personal favorite of mine. It is a landscape painting, done in fine soft pastel, depicting the artist's impression of Jekyll Island, Georgia in the evening. The colors are earth tones, greens, browns, grays, with undertones of blue and sienna, giving the whole painting a smoky aura. The finished pastel has been preserved with a fixative to deter smearing or paint particles loosening, and protects the painting for years to come.
The image itself is 9" x 12" and will come professionally matted and framed up to a larger 12 x 16. It comes initialed on the front, signed on the back, and with a certificate of authenticity showing it to be an original work of fine art by contemporary artist N.J. Strother.
