This area of sea caves along the Bay of Fundy shore close to were I live. It is a favourite subject for local artists. I first painted the scene in pastels and decided to do a version with oils. I have chosen a different perspective on the subject, emphasizing the ruggedness of the rock strata and the colours in the sea on a calm day.
