I began my art career at a young age. My grandmother was a painter and doll maker and had me doing ceramics at the age of 6 and painting landscapes in oil at the age of 12 as well as making the occassional doll that my grandmother sold in her booths at the art festivals where I helped her on weekends. Even before that I never went anywhere without pencils or crayons and a drawing pad.
I received a BFA from the University of Texas in 1998. Have been in two group shows at the Center For Research in Contemporary Art, and have had one solo exhibition at the Univeristy of Texas at Arlington. And I have recently participated in two groups shows with RCAS and exhibited at the Wildflower Arts and Music Festival in Richardson,Texas.
In the last 5 years I have explored textile art before recently returning to drawing and painting again. I started selling my crazy patch pouches on ebay 4 years ago. 2 years ago I started selling my drawings and paintings on ebay.
My work can also be seen at Cafe Brazil in Richardson, University Park and the famous Deep Ellum. Soon my work will also be available at the Carrollton location.
I will be exhibiting at ArtFest in Addison on Memorial Day weekend. Please come by to visit and see more of my original artwork.
