I have been an artist all my life, but it was not until becoming an adult that I used painting as an expression. It is something that I had always wanted to do, but for one reason or another kept putting it off. I kept telling myself that I didn't have the time. One day I realized how profound that thought truly was. The truth is, I don't have the time NOT to paint! Life is too short! Now that I have picked up a paint brush, I don't know how I managed to get this far in my life without it. Some days I look at my kaleidoscope of paints and marvel at the possibilities. I'm like a kid in a candy store! I look at the world through different eyes and am amazed at all the things around me that I had not noticed.

Through my art, I hope to give back to the universe, no matter how minimally that may be, and to acknowledge The Great Artist, through whom all things are possible.
