I've lived in Pennsylvania for nearly ten years and have recently settled in Bloomsburg, PA. I'm a southern transplant, a Navy brat and come from a large, tangled family of parents and step parents. My mother says that I showed artistic talent when I was very young... 3 or 4 years old. By the time I was 8, I would take pens, chalk and tracing paper and sit in the closet with a lamp, trying to make what I thought looked like "stained glass window" drawings.

Art as a young child was always some sort of creative, exotic experience that I preferred to do alone, rather than in school with other children. I'd go off and dig in the clay and make sculptures and bake them in the Virginia sun.

In high school I decided to gain more focus and took an AP studio art class my senior year. I then went on to further study at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. After college, I found myself designing custom tattoos for people and then eventually being published as Savage Magazine's guest artist for my art, not my designs. I thought it was awesome that they had an interest in various artists outside of tattooing. All of the art they published were paintings and mono prints.
