ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Elizabeth is a 35-year-old artist, writer, and publisher currently exiled from civilization and the mountains she loves while taking a sabbatical on the plains to write books about art...and hopefully do some.

While she has no formal art education herself, she teaches others how to get in touch with the creativity lurking within. She is relatively prolific, with several books, regular periodicals, and publication credits to her name, and a large body of artwork to go along with it.

She is available for hire, if you're in need of a handcrafted journal, customized collage, or classes at your store or other location.

ABOUT THE ART:
Most of my work is about me. Let's face it here -- when someone goes to create, ninety percent of what's created is autobiographical, even if that's just in the sense that it is the artist's eyes we're seeing through.

In my case, when things come from my head that are or are not inherently functional, you're seeing a bit of me there. Translated into canvas or paper or into the covers of a book, there is a tiny slice of my life embedded in each.

Where that overlaps with the connection to all mankind is where the deeper meaning comes in. My struggles are not unique, but the way I see them is. By viewing the microcosmic snapshots of one's life as reflected in the eyes or objects of another, I try to convey that art begins where the microcosm ends.

Autobiographical, then? Yes. For both myself AND the world.
