I am originally from England, but have lived in Brunei, South East Asia for over ten years. I have been quilting for many years but have only recently moved over from the more traditional style patchwork and applique to art quilts.

My designs are mostly inspired by my life here and the natural world: the exotic flowers, wildlife, rain forest and the sea, as well as traditional batik and ethnic art styles.

Each piece I make is individually hand crafted using hand and machine stitching . No two pieces are ever exactly the same although I might repeat elements of a popular design. I like to work on a small scale and most of my designs are finished as wall hangings with either a sleeve or loops so that they can be suspended from a bar or wooden rod. Each wall hanging is also finished with its own label on the back.
