I'm a professional artist, studied studio art and art history in college, and I teach art classes. Most of my adult life has been spent in the study and love of American Folk Art. It is the simplicity that touches my soul. Even the angels that I have been painting over this last year have a folk feel to them. A lot of my newer work incorporates words and phrases using mixed media. I'm happy to do commission work.
