This is a fun little painting I did for my daughter's room. I like the horizontal format, and I think I will be using it more in my work. The landscape format lets me work in a way similar to illustration--this was done at a time I was working on a large illustration project--and it was easy to show the relationship between the girl and her pet when they are walking together through the landscape.
