Being born in Germany and growing up in Spain I never stopped to explore the world. As a flight attendant and frequent traveller I had the opportunity to take art classes not only in Germany but in Thailand, China, the US and Argentina as well.

Nevertheless it took me 23 years to get the courage to do what I always wanted to do: to paint and paint and paint. After moving to the Florida Keys in 1999 I finaly put my lifelong dream into reality: being a full time artist.

In 2003 I moved to the Big Island of Hawaii and worked there for nearly 2 years.My Hawaiian paintings are more or less all Kona-Coffee inspired.

In 2004 I moved to Santa Fe/New Mexico.Inspired by the south-western colors I changed my palette but I'm still doing my "Circles of Life" my favorite pattern in my abstract paintings.

Mostly I do "Series" ,so my paintings are been bought by collectors in Europe and the US. My inspiration starts with streching the canvas. My mood determines the colors I will work with much more then the idea I have in mind what to paint. I don't limit myself working with brushes and knifes, whatever is within my reach is been used as a tool to create my paintings.

In 2003 I got the "Best Art 2-Dimentional Award" at the judged Exhibition at the 33th " Kona Coffee Festival" in Kailua Kona, Hawaii for my "Golden Beans" (shown above)
