I usually take pics of things that are full of life - flowers in bloom, trees, plants, veggies, etc. Then I noticed that plants in decay have their own different sort of charm. Lots of unique patterns, whorls, brown-tones, gray tones, twisted shapes. I picked up a huge bulb, planted it and it generated a plant with beautiful big glossy leaves. This claw-shaped leaf is the plant in decay.
All plants are from my back yard. Taken with a Nikon Cool Pix 995 digital camera and lightly PhotoShopped.
