Being a peace-nik at heart, from my early hippy wannabe days, until now, I wish PEACE for all the citizens of this bright blue dot, be they animal, vegetable, mineral or peeps. I make a special hand-made Christmas card every year. While going over my cards from years past, I was surprised to find that most of them either incorporated the peace symbol or a peace dove. So I guess I have a theme running here!

This year's Christmas card contains an astronomical photo that my husband took from our backyard observatory of the "Soul Nebula" with it's amazing angel. Look near the top of the photo and you'll see the angel sweeping her wings on high. There are amazingly beautiful, even mystical, things to see up there in the sky.
