M is for Miss Mousie as she happily sails through the spring air in her great big red monogrammed "M" heart balloon :)

Having illustrated one published children's book in my life, of course I long for more. I have many happy little characters tucked away in my files that beg to be let out into the pages of another children's book. Miss Mousie is one of these. She's the happiest of happy crits and she sails over the Michigan spring landscape in her pink ballet slippers and polka dotted dress with her own personal monogram "M" on her bright red balloon to match her big heart :)

Miss Mousie was painted with all archival acid-free watercolor paints, dyes, colored pencil, graphite and pen and ink on sturdy cream Crescent watercolor board.
