These are a very unique pumpkin called a fairy pumpkin. It had a silvery grayish hue. I bought this one at our local grocery store. To me they looked like something a fairy would live in, short, flat and squat and in unique colors. What you see in the photo is very close to what it looked like. It's not the traditional orange.
