Born in Liverpool UK, graduated Laird school of art. Emigrated to USA 1984 moved to Centerport NY 1990. Main medium acrylic on canvas but continue to enjoy watercolor and pen and Ink drawings as quick methods of capturing a scene or an idea. Works are in private collections around the world.

The Virtual Grand Tour is a project I started in 2004. I am using the Internet to travel the world as the artists of the past used to in real life. I search for subject matter and if I find a photograph that I like I ask the photographer for permission to use the image as source material for a painting. So far all the people I have asked have been extremely generous in letting me use the images.
