I am a happily married, self taught artist, mother of 3. I was born and raised here in Central Oregon and have had a life long love of art. I choose to stay at home with my children and work on my art full time. By doing this I am able to spend quality time with my kids, while still keeping my passion for art alive. My children provide endless inspiration, and are often doing art of there own.
I enjoy working with several different medias and subjects so there is always a variety of art to choose from!
My first artistic influences came to me from my father. He is a fantastic artist, and uses his talents in the art of tattooing. He passed his wonderful artistic abilities down to me. My father will always be an inspiration, from the time I first started with my art, up until this day and future days to come, he will always be one of the key factors in providing inspiration and encouragment.
My Mother provides me with constent encouragment as well. She is the strong headed type that never gives up, and I am lucky to have enherited that trait from her. My parents have been HAPPILY married for over 30 years now, and that alone is inspiring, and encouraging!
My husband and I work together as a team to create unique works of art. My husband is a very talented craftsman, he designs and builds all his own furniture, boxes, frames and plaques. I use my pyrography, glass etching, and painting skills to apply my art work to his. I feel that our passion for art is as strong as our passion for eachother , and this shines through in every piece we create together.
My husband and I love to do custom work, so if you or someone you know would like a custom made and decorated piece of art/furniture, feel free to e-mail us. I am confident enough to say that there isn't much we cannot do for you, my husband can build anything and I will do my best to apply any custom requested art work.
