commissioned piece for a customer that collects these little birds who having seen one on show in my private collection asked if I would sell it . Since I never sell work from my private collection I offered to paint one for her. inside the box painted two feathers as a sort of trade mark I often mark my wildlife art this way feathers for the birds tracks for the land animals and water drop for water creatures. this little fellow is singing his heart out to the world .
